This website is owned and managed by We do HR Limited it is hereby assumed that as a User of the Answers in a Box website you have accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety and by use of the website you agree to be bound by the terms contained therein.

Answers in a Box reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, but will not alter these materially in such a way as to be detrimental or less-protective of information about you that may have been collected in the past, without first obtaining your consent.

Access
There are various levels of access available to users;

1. Free of Charge – users can print from, access and search the Answers in a Box without charge provided they agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of this statement. Material that is included within the free areas will be clearly declared.
2. Paid for Services – some material contained within the Answers in a Box website is only available to users who have paid for such services, and will only be accessible via the use of a secure login and password; and such Users shall also be entitled to access via the 0800 free phone number unlimited support, advice and/or guidance by phone and/or e-mail. Where further support, advice and/or guidance extends beyond that which can reasonably be provided via phone and/or e-mail, the User may be referred to a local specialist to help solve their immediate issue and such services shall fall under Bespoke Services.
3. Bespoke Services – where as a User of this website you require additional support, advice and/or guidance which is beyond the remit of that provided by phone or e-mail, you may be referred to a local industry Specialist (professional in their area of expertise) who shall provide the aforesaid services. Such services shall be negotiable in respect of fees between the User and the Specialist and Answers in a Box accept no liability for any advice provided by this person; notwithstanding that Answers in a Box Limited undertakes to bind the aforesaid professional under separate agreement to ensure they hold suitable Professional Indemnity and Qualifications to provide such advice.

Use of Customer Information
Answers in a Box may from time to time use automatically retrieved information from anonymous sources to update the content and/or operation of the website. In addition, Answers in a Box may from time to time use personal information submitted by the user via location in its web site. Please see the privacy statement for more information.

Answers in a Box may use technology to aid the processing of your order and/or track the browsing patterns of our site visitors, which can include "cookies" which would be temporarily stored on your computer during the order process. Information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your Internet browser settings, which you can do if you wish to disable these and prevent this from happening. You should be aware however, that if you do so, then this may prevent you from ordering products online from Answers in a Box. Please note that Answers in a Box will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not share any of your information with other third parties without first obtaining your consent.

If you have subscribed to receive newsletters and information direct to your desktop, you may cancel these subscriptions at any time by notifying Answers in a Box that you no longer wish to receive such communications.

As a user who wishes to access the free services via this website, you may only download or print information for your personal use. If you are a User who has paid for services appropriate to the Answers in a Box modules, then you may print or download information as governed by the licence of use for the Answers in a Box modules, namely; policies, forms, documents, templates or other items for use within the company or business holding the paid for licence which gives you access as a User.

If you wish to reproduce, store or transmit any of the content that appears on the Answers in a Box website on any other website, intranet or extranet, you must first obtain the express written permission to do so from We do HR Limited.

Limitation of Liability
Answers in a Box, its partners or affiliates or any party involved in creating, producing or delivering this service, or on any website linked to this service, shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages arising out of your access, use or inability to use this service, or any site linked to this service, or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure.

Answers in a Box shall also not be liable for any damages or losses, arising in contract, tort or otherwise; including lost profits, loss of business, or data; business interruption, damages and/or other consequential losses that result from your use of or inability to use the service, and/or from any action taken by you as a direct result of using material provided on the Answers in a Box website. This includes sites accessed through links from the Answers in a Box website.

Direct Debit Payments
A number of modules shall be available for purchase by a one-off payment; ongoing payment by Direct Debit facility or a combination of both; dependent on the individual module being purchased. Where the Direct Debit facility is used, the User acknowledges and accepts that any monthly payment shall be due for a minimum period of 12 months i.e. 12 monthly payments, even where an initial additional payment to access the module has been made. Answers in a Box reserves the right to offer discounts on the initial payment and/or the Direct debit payments.  

For users of the Direct Debit facility, Answers in a Box hereby guarantees;

• an immediate money back guarantee in the event of a payment error;
• advance notice in writing if the payment amount or date changes;
• that the user may cancel the Direct Debit at any time provided they notify Answers in a Box in advance and in writing, notwithstanding the above agreement by the User to make payment for a minimum of 12 months.

Refund and Returns
Answers in a Box herewith agrees to comply with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and operates a ‘no-quibbles’ guarantee and will replace in full any damaged or faulty item(s). Notification should be received by Answers in a Box of the problem within 30 days of receipt.

In the event that the User is dissatisfied with the product for whatever reason and notifies Answers in a Box within 14 days, then Answers in a Box shall refund part or all of the payment; reduced as follows:

1. reasonable reduction to cover administration charges such as postage, packing, insurance, registration and Direct Debit processing costs
2. where the module purchased comprises an initial payment followed by ongoing Direct Debit payments; and information has been downloaded via the software system; the cancellation of the Direct Debit only
3. where no download of information has occurred, refund of the full amount less reasonable administration charges as at (a) above

For your own protection, you are recommended to return any items using a registered postage facility. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

In addition, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you may cancel your order for any reason within 7 working days following receipt of the item(s).

Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of England and any arising disputes resulting from the use of the Answers in a Box website shall be dealt with in the English Courts.
